From my hometown branch, i applied a hdfc Regalia forex card which is only loaded with USD. At the time of online application they loaded 100 USD and amount was deducted from my bank account. After a week, i collect my forex card from branch and i activate it. When i login into the forex card netbanking, it shows me that i have 0 USD. I called customer care and they told me to contact branch. I contacted them and haven't got a revert back now. I don't even know whether they raise a complaint about it or not. Don't fall in trap. Nearly 100 USD is about to struck and i was thinking of loading 700 USD. I will not do this unless I will get my 100 USD. Do anyone know what to do next? | | srivaak | Dec 3, 2019 | NOT RECEIVED MY FOREX CARD I Applied for my Forex Card on 23/11/2019 with the help of an online banker and did the entire online process and made the Payment through my Deutsche Bank account. I received an email from Bank on 02/12/2019 that my card is ready and can be picked up from the closest Branch (which is Gulmohar Road Juhu), when i went to the branch i realised it was shut and does not exist anymore. I asked the nearby people as to where did the branch shift, they answered that they shifted to Nehru Nagar. I went to that Branch and on talking to the everyone and shifting from one counter to another, i get a response that we do not have your card, i asked them thwn who has it ? they replied we dont know. I saved each penny for months to travel and this was not a response i expected, they tool me to another officer and he just dropped an email and nothing else, i called the customer care, they said there is no status reflecting against your card application no. How ridiculous is this situation. No one knows where my card is, with all my savings in it. I have to travel next week and no one knows where my card is. I need to know where my money went. What should i do and who should i go to. | | atul29rh | Nov 2, 2019 | HDFC Bank Forex card HDFC bank's system, process and customer care and branch staff all are so rigid and pathetic that it literally spoiled my whole day and still my issue is not solved. I applied for personalised forex card and after online payment it showed the estimated delivery date 5 to 7 working days though my travel date was just after 5 days. Despite calling at customer care more than 10 times, I could not connect to forex department. I had to visit Hi tech city branch. Branch manager was not at his desk. poor branch staff could not help due to the rigid process. My questions to HDFC bank management. why do you need 5 days to print the name on the card. if you are not capable then why do not you give the option to customer to change the card to non personalised. why do you require customer to cancel the request through branch only and apply for new card with non personalised option and can't adjust the refund against new card. why do you require 7 working days for refund. why do you need to deduct GST in case of cancellation and adjust for FX rate change. there are so many why and no help available to customer either through customer care or branch. appreciate if you can look into these issues and fix them and also process my refund asap without any deduction. the transaction reference number is HF76021119094434 which I have used as service request number as well. | | Siddharthmaiti | May 21, 2019 | HDFC Forex card - Amount deducted but no cash dispensed at ATM I used my Hdfc prepaid forex corporate card at a cash dispensing ATM for withdrawing £800. But the amount wasn't dispensed and the balance in my forex card reduced by £800. I checked the online transaction status, it showed pending so I raised a complaint with [email protected] to reverse the amount back to my card. The application for a new card was done on 10th of May. I was immediately given an EMPTY card with the promise that it will be loaded in 2 days time. However to my horror, the card was never loaded and I was stranded badly in UK for those 2 weeks. I had to borrow money from friends and somehow managed to survive. As if this is not enough, the money was loaded on 4th of June (After my Return to India) and commissions/exchange amount was deducted. When I demanded full refund of my money, I was told this is not possible. Even now I am losing about 3000 INR if I go ahead and convert it back to INR. For no mistake of mine, I suffered badly while abroad and here again losing money. This is not acceptable. Can you please look into this and urgently get it fixed.
